Dragon Ball GT is a Japanese anime TV series that is the sequel to the Dragon Ball Z anime series. In episode 109, he reappeared as a child after being absorbed by Super Saiyan 4 Gotenks as part of a plan by Dr. Gero. From there, Black Smoke Shenron aided Super 17 in his battle against Goku. After Super 17 was defeated, Black Smoke Shenron reappeared on Earth to face the heroes once again. The final time Black Smoke Shenron appeared was during a flashback of Trunks' first encounter with him from Dragon Ball GT.In the Philippines, Dragon Ball GT was aired on GMA Network from May 12, 1999 to April 7, 2000 as a part of its "GMA Afternoon Prime" afternoon block and ended on weekdays as it came back later as a weekend special until 2004 where re-runs aired until 2006 when it gained ratings to air re-runs again replacing "Spider-Man Unlimited". The series was re-aired on GMA News TV on August 25, 2009 to September 19, 2009.
